I have had the good fortune to grow up in
a family that loves food and with an Italian Nonna (grandmother).
I was quite picky as a child and only learned to eat properly
when I got older.
What I have never forgotten though, was
when being on holiday in San Remo (Italy)and going to the
vegetable market where my Nonna would buy me a
slice of
freshly
baked pizza every time we went there. Mmm, how I loved
this little treat!
My love and obsession with pizza has stayed and I would
like to show you how to make your own pizza dough and how
delicious some of the very basic recipes are.
Andrea’s Pizza for Purist also covers how to make a
calzone or covered pizza and some delicatessen recipes I
have come up with myself. Last but not least the pizza dough lends itself to some
creative bread and foccacia making. All very simple and
not a mystery
at all. You just have to stick to the basics and you will
be able to spoil your family and yourself with this delicious
food.
